Join us at our “Gifts to Give” Christmas Market and Luncheon
Across the nation, other Catholic dioceses have witnessed countless examples of children’s lives being influenced in profound ways—academically, socially, and spiritually—as a result of inclusion. FIRE grants help schools cover costs for staff, technology, and professional development so students with learning differences have essential support to stay on track and make progress toward learning goals.
In our first year, FIRE granted over $88,000 to make it possible for students with significant needs to learn and grow alongside their siblings and friends in our wonderful Catholic schools.
Proceeds from this event will help FIRE open the doors and the hearts of Catholic school communities to students with significant special needs: including those with Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and more. It is time to ignite the flame of inclusive education for students of ALL abilities within the Archdiocese of Denver. For too long, our children with disabilities have been turned away from their parish schools due to a lack of funding, resources, and support, but now, following in the footsteps of the 25-year-old FIRE Foundation of Kansas City, it is time to start an inclusion revolution!
Would you help us lay the foundation for Catholic school inclusion by sponsoring our charity fundraiser?
